Summary & Key Responsibilities:
The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a 3000-level (3rd year) class, Psycholinguistics (PSYO/NESC 3190.03) in the Fall 2022 term. The
class will be offered fully online with synchronous class time on Monday and Wednesday 11:35am-12:55pm, with a maximum class size of 60 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lectures, test preparation, exam administration (including
supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for online student consultation (office hours). A 90-hr Marker is provided for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Given that this course will be offered fully online, experience with teaching in an online environment is an asset, as is previous experience with the Brightspace Learning Management System.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a graduate degree in a related field and demonstrated teaching effectiveness. Previous experience teaching the class material is an asset.
